The 2020 TADDEI Wines Barbera is grown at Pauli Ranch in the historic winegrowing region of Redwood Valley in Mendocino County. With multiple vintages of this wine under our belt, we are truly happy with the Barbera fruit from Pauli Ranch, as it never disappoints. The 2020 Barbera is a full bodied Barbera with wonderful aromas of berries and crushed violets.  The 2020 Barbera is a powerful and complex wine, with big berry compote flavors and black stone fruit with notes of Strawberry, Bing cherry and baking spice. The 2020 is deep, rich and fruity. This is a full-bodied, fruit forward wine and excites from start to finish.

2020 Barbera, Pauli Ranch, Mendocino 

The 2021 Haas Cabernet Sauvignon, Knights Valley.  This Cabernet Sauvignon features a deep purple-blue hue and has a beautiful nose classic aroma of ripe black cherry, and black fruits, cranberry, fresh herbs, and cigar box. Rich and deep on the palate, the flavor profile is brimming with engaging notes of dark cherry, boysenberry, wild berries and layers of spice, tar, leather and graphite. Generous and full-bodied, and complimented with soft tannins, this wine has firm structure and a long, persistent finish. The end result is a wine that not only tastes great now, but worthy of aging in the cellar for more than a decade. Power, grace, and elegance are in every sip. 

2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, Haas Vineyard, Knights Valley

The 2021 Jenks Pinot Noir is beautifully colored crimson red hue, the wine expresses the pleasing aromatics we have come to love about this vineyard of ripe tree fruits, wild berries, fresh sage, lavender, cinnamon, forest floor, leather, and roasted nuts.  This Pinot Noir continues its reputation with excessively rich, dense and captivating flavors of black raspberry, bright cherry, cherry cola, blueberry and pomegranate.  The wine has layers of Asian spice, all wrapped with the framework of selective oak barrel. Adding to the complexity, the wine is profiled with a velvety texture, velvety tannins, firm structure, and a wonderfully long finish. Year after year this vineyard creates a wine that is not only consistent in profile but approachable when young and built to age. This wine is very reminiscent of the 2015 and 2016 vintages, which were spectacular drinkers a decade into aging.

2021 Merlot, Mustard Hill

The 2021 GSM is a rich and balanced with soft tannin structure. It has a depth to the wine that is consistent with Syrah but is finessed with the complexity of the grenache and Mouvedre.  The show chocolatey notes and brimming with aromas of bright fruit aromatics of blackberry, cherry, and notes of Toffee and Tobacco. Dark purple to red in color, with a pallet both rich and dense with big strawberry and elderberry notes. 15% Grenache, 77% Syrah, and 8% Mourvèdre
