Our 2014 Cabernet from Linked Vineyard in Knights Valley features a deep purple-blue hue and classic aromas of ripe red and black fruits, fresh herbs, and cigar box. Bright and rich on the palate, the flavor profile is brimming with engaging notes of dark cherry, ripe plum, wild berries and layers of spice. Generous and full-bodied with chewy tannins, firm structure and a long, persistent finish. The end result is a wine that not only tastes great now, but worthy of aging in the cellar for more than a decade. Power, grace, and elegance in every sip. 

2014 Taddei Cabernet Sauvignon Knights Valley

2018 Rutherford TADDEI Block sits on the Rutherford Bench almost directly across from Alpha Omega.  The vineyard is approximately three quarters of an acre, and we farm the fruit at approximately two tons an acre. I lightly saingee this fruit only to adjust alcohol and pH.  I love the profile of the Rutherford dirt and I do what I can to preserve it in the wine.  2018 was the first vintage I processed fruit from the block, and often it takes two or three vintages to figure out how to handle the vineyard. I really love this little block and in 2018 the wine shows lovely flavors of plum, cherry and leather on the pallet with soft tannins.  The nose has a floral characteristic to it with notes of dark stone fruits. The wines finish is very smooth with hints f leather, espresso and dark fruit.

The 2018 cabernet features intense aromatics of dark fruits and blueberries coupled with floral notes of fresh flowers, with a hint of blackberry and peppery notes in the glass. This is a full-bodied cabernet with a rich palate and savory notes of sweetness. On the pallet the win¬e is plush with flavors of black fruits including black plum, black cherry, and a touch of blueberry.  The mouthfeel is seductive, elegant, and velvety with age-worthy acidity. This wine drinks well now and will age for years to come.



2018 Cabernet Sauvignon, Project X, Alexander Valley

The 2019 Summer Hill Cabernet Sauvignon from Calistoga is a rich, round, and big wine. The nose opens with violet, dark berries, and Asian spice. The color is a deep rich purple. The mid-palette is surprisingly lush and charming for such a young wine. The finish is long and seductive with incredible intensity with fades slowly, leaving a finish of dried fruits and hints of spice. With a touch of Malbec and Petite Verdot added, this wine is stunning.
