The 2021 Ridge Rock Syrah is from the Bennett Valley AVA, and as the name suggests, it lies along an upper ridge of Annadel Mountain overlooking all of Bennett Valley and most of Santa Rosa. The 2021 Rock Ridge Syrah is dark red to purple in color with a bright purple rim. On the nose aromatics of Mandarin Orange, Geranium flowers, and baking spices are up front dark fruit notes. The pallet is dark fruit, Cherry, with caramel, toffee and pecan with leather notes. This Syrah shows an elegant and round mouthfeel with an elegant finish. The Ridge Rock Syrah has a fantastic texture and depth with a long finish with layers of leather and grilled meats. The 2021 Syrah will age magnificently and will improve over the years to come.
