The 2024 Chardonnay fruit is both approachable, bright and delicious. The 2025 has aromatics expressing layers of citrus notes and lemon blossoms compounded on honeysuckle, vanilla and creme brulee. On the palate the wine exhibits terrific acidity coupled with creamy notes and sweet citrus Brule and butterscotch. The wine has an expressive and lively mouth feel with velvety texture and ample structure. The tannins are sweet with impressive depth. The wine finishes with sweet citrus and notes of smoky roasted marshmallow and meringue notes. Although this wine was aged in new french oak, the wood does overwhelm the wine and there is a beautiful balance on this wine that should age for years to come.
