The 2022 Haas Cabernet Sauvignon, Knights Valley. Is a ridgetop vineyard composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. We farm the vineyard at approximately 2.5 tons pe acre and the farming practices have remained consistent year after year. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon features a deep purple-blue hue and has a beautiful nose of baked berry pie. The wine is consistent year over year with aromatics of plum, ripe black cherry, and black fruits, fresh herbs, tar and cigar box. This wine is very rich on the palate, and has those Bordeaux qualities of leather and tobacco with dark cherry, boysenberry, wild berries and graphite. Like its predecessors, the 2022 is a full-bodied, and approachable, this wine has firm structure and a very large mid palate and a persistent finish. The 2022 Haas is round, rich and big. These mountain top vineyards create wine that will last. The 2022 Haas is approachable now, and will cellar for a decade or more.
